Few people have been as influential in the tremendous improvement and global popularisation of Indian coffee as Ratnagiri Estate’s Mr Ashok Patre. Through years of research and experimentation, he has developed unique processes and farming techniques that have taken his coffees to the next level. Coffees from Ratnagiri Estate are sought after by roasters across the world, and we feel extremely fortunate to have got this absolutely delicious 170-hour yeast fermented carbonic maceration Catuai from them.
Being the first year that we’re partnering with them, and having had some incredible coffees by them through other roasters, we really wanted to do justice to the coffee and the people behind the coffee. This coffee is roasted light and has notes of Peaches, hints of rose, and Orange Marmalade. We enjoy this as a filter, and being lovers of light roast espressos, we absolutely love this!!
