The Orchadale Estate in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu is part of the MSP Coffee group, and is located at one of the highest elevations of the region. MSP coffee's Moganad Estate - washed was the first coffee we ever bought as BCR, and the Moganad Estate Naturals was the first Indian naturals we tasted that just blew us away. Since then we've bought some coffee from them each year, and they have given us some of our most loved coffees. Earlier BCR patrons fondly remember the Hidden Falls Estate - Naturals and the Stanmore Estate - Black Honey. Navin Rajes and his Family are some of the most experimental coffee growers in the country and through countless trials they product outstanding coffees year on year despite tremendous climatic uncertainty that Yercaud has seen over the last few years.

This Naturals underwent 72 hour Anaerobic fermentation, before it was dried for 30 days in rotation shade and run exposure controlling the drying to the minutest extent. Anaerobic Naturals from Yercaud have been pretty tricky for us over the last couple of years, as we've found most of them overly boozy and not within our preferred flavour profile. This one though had a great blend of Jamminess and clean floral notes, with a sweet finish to convince us to get this. MSP's expertise in fermentation and drying enables these super fruity tasting notes to come through even in very light roasts, because of which we were able to profile this coffee very light and bring out a lot of the floral Rose notes in the aroma as well as in the cup.

In this Anaerobic Naturals, we get intense notes of Rose, a bright mixed berry jam, with a syrupy finish of character of wild honey. This coffee is definitely very different from most other coffees we've offered you all in this season, but we hope that you'll love this coffee as much as we do and cherish this for the incredible diversity in flavours we can enjoy in Indian Coffees!
